What is the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST?

What is the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST?

Before Mary gave birth To Jesus. Joseph herd the news that mary was pregnant and was going to silently leave and divorce her for her Infidelity but was visited in a dream by The Lord

“JOSEPH, SON OF DAVID, do not fear to take mary as your wife, for that which is conceived from her is from the Holy Spirit”

“She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus for he will save his people from their sins”

-Matthew 1:20-21

The Lord was spoken by the prophet Isaiah:

“Behold , the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel”

-Isaiah 7:14

This was spoken roughly around 700 years before the birth of Immanuel, which means (God with us)- Jesus!

During the upbringing of Jesus childhood he was completely sinless and when the news Got out that the birth of Christ was Born in Bethlehem.

Herod sent the wise man,

“When they saw the star they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy”

  • Matthew 2:10

The wise men sent by king Herod, entered the house, and begin to worship Jesus.

“Then opened their treasures, they offered him gifts, Gold and frankincense and myrrh.”

-Matthew 2:11

King Herod was Jealous there was another king being worshiped, and tried to kill him as a baby. Herod sent troops out. after seen that he was fooled by the wise man he became furious, so he set out to kill all male babies under the age of 2 in Bethlehem.

A angel from the Lord came to Joseph in a dream and said

“Rise, take the child and his mother and flee to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you, for Herod search for the child and destroy him.”

-Matthew 2:13

Joseph got up and fled and escaped to Egypt until the Lord gave news that king Herod was dead. After the death of king Herod, the Lord guided Joseph to return to a district called Galilee and lived in a city of Nazareth.

During those days John the Baptist was preaching.

“Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand”

-Matthew 3:2

John speaks about the coming of Christ ahead of him,

“I baptize with water for repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I, Whom sandals I am not Worthy to Carry. He will baptize with the Holy Spirit and fire.”

-Matthew 3:11

Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan, to be baptized by John the Baptist. John knowing that Christ Jesus asked him to baptize him he said

“I need to be baptized by you” then Jesus said it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousnesses”

“And when Jesus was baptized, Immediately he went up from the water and behold, The heavens were opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove coming to rest on him;”

“Behold a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved son, with whom I am well pleased.”

-Mathew 3:14-17

Jesus Christ began his ministry, he went in the wildness for 40 days to experience fasting and being tempted by The devil.

“Man shall not live by bread alone, but the word that comes from the mouth of God”

-Matthew 4:4

Then the Devil took him to the top of the mountain and told Jesus if you bow down to me I will give you the 7 kingdoms of the world.

Jesus replied,

“Be gone Satan for it is written”

-Matthew 4:10

The devil then fled after being inflicted by the word of God, Jesus now exits the forest after 40 days and starts his ministry. During Jesus ministry the people were amazed by his teaching and began to spread the word about the miracles he was preforming. After 3 years of Jesus teaching and fulfilling hundreds of prophesies, the time had come for him to bear the cross! So that we may receive the best Gift to ever exist, followed by his eternal Love. Jesus after talking to his disciples he was denied by Peter 3 times. Jesus was now captured by the Roman’s. Now he is in the council testifying why he shouldn’t die, and remains silent.

“At last two came forward. And said “this man said, ‘I am able to destroy the temple of God and rebuild it in three days.’ And the high priest stood up and said,” have you no answer to make? But Jesus remained silent. And the high priest said to him,” I adjure you by the living God, tell us if you are Christ, the Son of God.” Jesus said to him,” you have said so. But I tell you, from now on you will see the son of man seated at the right hand of power and coming on the clouds of heaven.” Then the high priest tore his robes and said,” He has uttered blasphemy. What further witness do we need? You have now heard his blasphemy. What is your judgment? They answered, “ he deserves death.” They spit in his face and struck him. And some slapped him”

-Matthew 26: 60-67

Jesus wash stripped, mocked, put a crown of thorns in his head, spit on, hit by rocks, they put a reed in his right hand, they took the reed and struck him in the head, stripped him again and put his clothes on to go be crucified. He then carried the cross about 1 mile to the hill. A man who knew no sin laid his life down willingly to free us of our debt in all sin, he destroyed separation by being crucified on the cross, during him being slashed and beating, he was no longer recognized by the scars as a man.

“For while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his son, much more , Now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life”

-Romans 5:10

When Jesus was on the cross he cried out to the Father,

“My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?”

-Matthew 27:46

The crowd said to Jesus on the cross

“He saved others but can’t save himself”

-Matthew 27:42

After receiving the sour wine on Calvary

“Jesus said, “it is finished,” and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.”

-John 19:30

It was now the day of preparation on the sabbath and when they saw Jesus was dead one of the soldiers pierced his side first poured out blood the came out water and the solider was in utter shock and knew he was Lord.

JESUS was then brought to the tomb and resurrected 3 days later, the disciples and mary ran to the tomb, and what the saw, they believed.

“That he must rise from the dead”

-John 20:9

Mary ran into the tomb and saw 2 angels one at the head and one at the foot at the body of Jesus. And she weeped and turned around and Jesus said why are you weeping, mary.

He replied to her,” do not cling to me, for I have not ascended to the Father and your Father , to my God and your God”

-John 20:17

Jesus then appeared to the disciples-

“Jesus said to them again, “peace be with you.as Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.” And when he said this,he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive sin of any, they are forgiven them; if you withhold forgiveness from any, it is withheld.”

-John 20:21-23

Jesus took up the debts of our separation in sin so we can have a relationship with the Father.

“God so loved the world he sent his only son to die on the cross, so that you will not perish but have eternal life”

-John 3:16

God truly longs for us- it’s about receiving the best gift there ever was and that was salvation through Jesus Christ defeating death for us by willingly laying his life down. JESUS LOVES YOU AND DONT FORGET! He can cope with any problems you have because he died for them, your addiction, your chains, your burdens, Jesus tells us to pick up our cross and to die daily because great is your reward in heaven!
